She’d ‘Love to Work with Him’ (Source)

Will Jennifer Aniston and Pedro Pascal be the next blockbuster big-screen duo?

The pair were spotted outside the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 23, after what a source tells PEOPLE was “a business dinner to get to know each other better.”

Aniston, 56, and Pascal, 49, appeared in animated conversation with another woman as they were surrounded by a group of people outside the West Hollywood locale.

“Jen likes [Pedro’s] energy and would love to work with him,” the source tells PEOPLE.

Known for his TV roles in The Mandalorian and The Last of Us — not to mention big-screen projects like Gladiator II and the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps — Pascal can next be seen opposite Chris Evans and Dakota Johnson in Materialists.

The upcoming romantic comedy from Celine Song (Past Lives) sees Johnson, 35, as Lucy, a modern matchmaker whose professional life grows complicated after her own love life is thrust into the spotlight when she meets a potential new lover named Randy (Pascal) at an event and coincidentally reconnects with her ex John (Evans, 43) the same night.

“A young, ambitious New York City matchmaker finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex,” reads an official synopsis for the A24 movie, in theaters June 13.

And Aniston is a veteran in the rom-com space herself, playing the leading lady in films like Along Came Polly (2004), Just Go with It (2011) and more.

Sunday wasn’t Aniston and Pascal’s first business chat, though. During the 2024 Critics Choice Awards red carpet, the Friends alum and her Morning Show costar Reese Witherspoon invited Pascal to “be on” their hit Apple TV+ series.

Witherspoon, 49, then leaned over to Aniston and added, “Wait, we actually do have a really good part for him” which led her costar to gasp in agreement.

“Pitch it to me now,” replied Pascal.

When asked if it involved “anything romantic with anybody,” Aniston jokingly teased, “All of us.”

“I sleep with everyone on the show,” the Freaky Tales star quipped in response. “I’m in. All right, I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents.”
