Over the past few months, ESPN host Stephen A. Smith has voiced his concerns with President Joe Biden running for re-election.

On Thursday night those concerns bubbled to the surface once against after Biden’s presidential debate with Donald Trump. The President of the United States appeared to stutter and stumble on his words at times, which has the ESPN host worried.

He suggested Biden’s team hung him out to dry with the debate. Smith then called on Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris to step up to replace Biden before the presidential election takes place later this year.

“So do y’all finally want to stop arguing with me about Biden now??? Have your fears now been confirmed? Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris. Somebody. Please help!” Smith said in a post on social media tonight. “Biden’s team WANTED this? His staff, His loved ones…. How could you put him out there like that! How could you!”

This is hardly the first time he’s floated a replacement for Biden. Late last year he suggested Gavin Newsom should take over the Democratic nomination.

“Now, here’s where I’m going: I am in no way saying that me, myself, supports this move, but what makes sense if you are a flaming liberal, what makes sense is that Biden bows out, and [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom takes the mantle and runs for the presidency against . . . the Republican nominee,” he said.

“We need a new president. The man is gonna be 82 years of age in the year 2024. There’s no way around it. We need to stop.”

Will Biden be replaced before the election?
