West Wilson and Ciara Miller quickly caught each other’s eyes during Summer House season 8.
The season was filmed during summer 2023, but fans didn’t get an inside look into their relationship until episodes hit Bravo starting in February 2024. Things between West and Ciara were hot and heavy in the beginning — but they fizzled out just as quick.
After going their separate ways, West made things a little too public, causing tension between him and Ciara. The next two seasons featured West attempting to get back in Ciara’s good graces.
As Summer House season 10 continued to air in 2026, it appeared that West and Ciara had finally made it to a good place. However, the rift between them deepened off camera when West and costar Amanda Batula — one of Ciara’s closest friends — confirmed their romance.
Amanda separated from husband Kyle Cooke in January 2026 after four years of marriage, and rumors soon started to swirl that Amanda had moved on with West. After initially denying that they were anything more than friends, Amanda and West issued a joint statement confirming their romance.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they wrote in March 2026. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They added, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
A source later told Us Weekly that Ciara felt “heartbroken” and “betrayed” by her close friend.

June 2023
The Summer House season 8 premiere was filmed in 2023 with the two crossing paths for the first time.
“West is impressing me, I’m not gonna lie,” she said at the time. West confirmed that he had a “a little baby crush” on Ciara.
July 2023
The former couple’s first date ended with a kiss. While the cameras didn’t catch their first-ever makeout session, fans saw them lock lips during the fifth episode of season 8.
September 2023
After the camera’s dropped for the season, Ciara and West continued dating. Ciara posted a series of photos at the time that appeared to be taken at West’s family farm.
“We went to his parents’ house,” Ciara confirmed during the season 8 reunion, which aired in June 2024. “We went and stayed with his brother in Chicago, we went to a wedding.”
West added, “I don’t think we walked around saying boyfriend/girlfriend, but I mean, basically, we hung out every day.”

Fans got their answers about where Ciara and West’s relationship stands when the season 8 reunion aired.
“I think we kept things rolling to December [2023],” West explained. “Early December, we had a dinner about laying it all out there and figuring out what we were going to do.”
Ciara revealed that she went “no contact” with West after their split.
“I stopped talking to you altogether,” she explained. “Because I think that’s mean, to take someone to your parents’ house and want to sleep with them when you have no intention of doing anything.”

West also appeared in The New York Times after the reunion aired and discussed his regrets about how his budding fame impacted his relationship with Ciara.
“I think I would’ve read more honest if I was just like, ‘The relationship ran its course, I don’t think we were meant to be together, that’s it,’” he said at the time. “I think me trying to deflect the actual relationship and name all these external things really made me sound like an idiot.”

When Summer House season 9 began filming, Ciara confronted West about his NYT comments during a full cast dinner. The conversation aired during the second episode that season. She notably called him a “loser” and a “beta.”
November 2024
Ciara offered an update on where she stood with West during an exclusive interview with Us.
“Currently, I don’t have a relationship with him, and it stayed pretty consistent throughout the summer,” she said at the time. “I don’t feel like we’re in a position where we need to be friends. It’s just kind of coexisting.”

Summer House season 10 premiered nearly one month after Amanda and Kyle announced their separation. In episode 6, Ciara acknowledged her flirty vibe with West.
“Fliritng, having fun, drunken stupors, great,” Ciara said in a confessional. “In the sober daylight, a conversation where I have to put my guard down and be so vulnerable? Not sure.”
She even admitted during episode 7 that there might still be “attraction” between them.

Amanda and West confirmed their romance following widespread rumors. Summer House cast members — past and present — showed support for Ciara on social media.
