Missing the Kale Caesar Salad from True Food Kitchen? So was SZA, and now it’s coming back as a remix.
The singer-songwriter, who just added to her Grammy haul Sunday night with a Best R&B Song win for “Saturn” and will be appearing next Sunday with collaborator Kendrick Lamar at the halftime show for Super Bowl 59, was not happy that the healthy-food restaurant only offered the seed-free, nutrient-rich salad in limited seasonal releases, according to a release Thursday. So she reached out to the company.
“The funny part is, this all started because Caesar Salads were my hyper fixation meal and True Food Kitchen has the best dressing,” said Solána Imani Rowe, 35, who performs as SZA. “After begging them to bring the Kale Caesar Salad back from its seasonal retreat, I realized not only should everyone have access to this delicious salad year-round, everyone should have access to organic meals and produce year-round! That’s why building this partnership with True Food Kitchen is so important to me.”
True Food Kitchen has partnered with Grammy Award-winning artist SZA to bring guests the SZA CZA Salad.
SZA’s preferred version will also benefit Los Angeles, recently ravaged by wildly destructive wildfires, with 20% of net proceeds of all SZA CZA salad sales supporting SUPRMARKT “to make fresh, affordable food accessible to underserved communities.”
The SZA CZA salad is available now at all True Food Kitchens, including six in Florida.

True Food Kitchen announces the SZA CZA Salad insopired by SZA’s favoite ingredients: organic kale, cherry tomatoes, avocado, scallions, rosemary garlic croutons, shaved parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing.
