Taylor Swift was locked in as her husband, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs battled against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18 — but the same couldn’t be said for every member of Chiefs Kingdom.

In footage circulating on social media, Swift, 36, could seemingly be seen urging a fan to watch the action on the field instead of taking the pop star’s photo inside her usual suite at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.

A video of the slightly awkward interaction went viral on Sunday, with a TikTok clip earning over 220,000 views at the time of this story’s publication.

“I would die of embarrassment,” one person commented.

Another wrote, “How do people have zero self awareness or shame getting in someone’s face taking pictures. It’s so awkward. I’m glad she told the person to knock it off and watch the game.”

Kelce, 37, and the Chiefs defeated the Chargers, 22-6, improving to a perfect 5-0 record on the year.

Swift has attended all three Kansas City home games so far this season, the first since she and Kelce got married in New York City in July.

The “Patient Zero” singer was joined by friends Este Haim and Caitlin Clark on Sunday, who were both seen sitting next to her in the suite.

Swift also shared a cute moment with her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, reacting with excitement as they shared a hug during the game.

Este, one-third of music group Haim along with her sisters, Danielle and Alana, has been friends with Swift for years. In addition to their music collaborations — “No Body, No Crime” xfrom Swift’s album Evermore and a remix of Haim’s “Gasoline” — Este, 40, sat courtside with Swift at Game 4 of the NBA Finals in June, decked in custom Knicks shirts made by Alana, 34. (Este’s said “Knickole Kidman” and Swift’s said “Stevie Knicks.”)

“I mean, I think it surprised all of us,” Este told Variety about the reaction to their shirts. “I just went into it like, ‘We’re going to go to a basketball game and have fun.’ That’s literally it. Like, I was just [thinking], ‘I want to have a good time.’”

Este added, “Taylor invited me and Alana. I’ve never sat courtside ever so it was a magical, magical experience. I’ve never heard [Madison Square Garden] be that loud in my life. It was amazing. I had the best time.”

Swift and Travis got married at Madison Square Garden the following month.

The Chiefs return to action on Sunday, October 25, when they travel to Seattle to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks.
