Taylor Swift wore an affordable look on a night on the town.
Swift, 36, stunned in a white Retrofête dress while having dinner at Via Carota in New York City on Tuesday, May 13. Her dress, which retails for $217, featured long sleeves, a mock neck and a pleated tennis skirt. Swift contrasted the crisp white ensemble with a black leather Dior purse ($4,000) and sling-back heels by Gucci.
The singer accessorized with a black ribbon tied in her hair. She added a touch of sparkle with her massive engagement ring from Travis Kelce and dangly earrings by Vrai.
For glam, Swift rocked soft makeup, including glowy skin, bronzed cheeks, winged eyeliner and terracotta lips. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail with her bangs blown out over her forehead.
This isn’t the first time Swift has worn an affordable dress. In April, she rocked a blue-and-white Staud dress that retails for $325. The number was equipped with a square neckline, thick straps, and an A-line pleated skirt.
Swift wore the Staud dress while walking through New York City, and added a pop of color to her look with a bright yellow Dior purse. She completed her look with a cherry red look, Christian Louboutin sandals, diamond hoop earrings and an opal bracelet, a nod to Kelce’s birthstone and her song, “Opalite.”
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement via Instagram in August 2025. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she captioned a pic of Kelce, 36, getting down on one knee and proposing with an old-mine cut diamond set in a gold engraved band by Kindred Lubeck. For her proposal, Swift looked sharp in a striped dress while Kelce opted for a navy blue polo and gray pants. The duo started dating in 2023.
