When I first heard of Flykitt, I was equal parts skeptical and intrigued. Could supplements really cure jet lag from long-haul flights?

As a lifelong endurance athlete, certified personal trainer, and health and fitness writer, I’ve learned the only true wellness “magic bullets” are the basics: sleep, movement, nutrient-dense food, and stress management.

Still, I was about to fly from Denver to Barcelona for a weeklong cycling tour through Girona, and the plan was to hit the ground riding. Just hours after landing, our group would tackle a 23-mile shakeout ride—and over the next six days, I’d bike 290 miles and climb 20,000 feet.

The last time I flew to Europe, jet lag flattened me. On the plane, I didn’t sleep a wink, and by 2 p.m. in Reykjavik, I could barely keep my eyes open.

I didn’t want to repeat that misery—so I tried Flykitt International. Spoiler: it worked better than I could have imagined.

What Is Flykitt?

Flykitt calls itself an “all-in-one system for healthy travel.” It’s a kit with supplements, blue light–blocking glasses, and an app that tells you exactly when to use them, eat, and sleep.

Developed with help from Navy SEALs and fighter pilots, Flykitt is designed to help your body adjust to a new time zone fast, so you can skip the fatigue and get to work (or play). With kits designed for either international trips, domestic trips, vegan travelers, and young travelers, you can choose the product that meets your needs and itnerary.

How the Flykitt App Works

When my kit arrived, I scanned the QR code on the box to access the Flykitt app. After entering my flight details and sleep schedule, it generated a personalized timeline for taking the supplements, sleeping, wearing the glasses, and eating.

Push notifications started early on travel day and continued for about 48 hours—reminding me what to do and when.

The app also explained what jet lag is and why it happens, and a built-in “insights” page showed how closely I was syncing with my new time zone—a surprisingly motivating feature.

My Real Experience Using Flykitt

Overall, I found Flykitt International easy, intuitive, and shockingly effective. I was astonished at how little jet lag I experienced both flying from Denver to Barcelona and from Barcelona back to the U.S. (For the return trip, I landed in LaGuardia, where I met my family for a long weekend of non-stop sightseeing before returning home to Colorado.) I would strongly recommend it and will absolutely use it again.

On my flight from Denver to Barcelona, I barely slept, but I landed with minimal fatigue. After a morning cup of coffee and a filling lunch, I hopped on my bike and cruised through our 23-mile afternoon ride feeling great.

The return trip from Barcelona to New York City was just as smooth. Even with a few missed doses the day after I arrived, I showed up ready to explore the Big Apple and slept soundly every night.

What I Loved About Flykitt

Simple and structured: The app made it easy to know what to do and when. Push notifications kept me accountable, and checking off tasks was oddly satisfying.

Forgiving and flexible: Miss a supplement? Skip a nap? Couldn’t eat at the prescribed time? The app reassures you it’s okay—multiple strategies are working together to help your body adjust.

Motivating progress: Watching my internal clock “catch up” in real time was incredibly rewarding.

It worked: Despite no sleep on the plane, I arrived with plenty of energy and adjusted to my new time zone with no hiccups.

What I Didn’t Love About Flykitt

Bulky packaging: The supplement blister packs come in a large cardboard foldout that eats up valuable carry-on space. Next time, I’ll repack them in small containers or zip bags.

Missed notifications: While this was certainly a user error, I missed a few push notifications. Next time I use Flykitt, I”ll set backup alarms.

Final Thoughts: Is Flykitt Worth It?

While I can’t rule out a placebo effect, I truly didn’t expect Flykitt International to work this well. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. And with the company’s money-back guarantee, you really can’t afford not to give it a try.

If you’re a frequent flyer or just want to feel human after a red-eye, I can’t recommend it enough. Until I can afford first class (a girl can dream!), Flykitt is my must-pack travel essential.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
