When John Mara handed a game ball to John Harbaugh after the Giants’ opening-night win over the Cowboys, I couldn’t help but think back to what Mara was feeling following the 2021 season about the coaching carousel and dysfunction that had enveloped Daniel Jones:
“We’ve done everything possible to screw this kid up.”
Mara is confident now that he has a head coach who will do everything possible to develop Jaxson Dart the way a young franchise quarterback needs to be developed.
