The only thing sweeter than a Hershey’s chocolate bar is a Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The country singer, 36, and the One Direction alum, 32, brought their signature charm to Hersheypark Stadium for an unforgettable night on Sunday, July 19, after severe weather forced a 24-hour postponement. (The coheadliners scheduled only two shows together this summer, with the first being held at Geodis Park in Nashville on July 9.)
After opening acts Emily Ann Roberts and Kashus Culpepper warmed up the crowd, Rhett kicked off the evening at 7:30 p.m. with a 17-song set featuring some of his biggest hits, including “Make Me Wanna” (2014), “T-Shirt” (2016) and “What’s Your Country Song” (2021). He also played a brand-new acoustic ballad titled “Sky Fall,” which he told fans he had written just a few weeks prior.
Following a rollicking performance of “Crash and Burn” (2015), Rhett passed the microphone to Horan — his friend (and golf buddy) of a decade — at 9:15 p.m. Horan kept the party going with 17 tunes of his own, including “This Town” (2016), “Slow Hands” (2017) and “Nice to Meet Ya” (2019), in addition to selections from his latest album, Dinner Party.
“The last time I stood in this stadium was 13 years ago. Can you believe it?” Horan asked the audience, referencing One Direction’s July 2013 stop in Hershey during their Take Me Home Tour. “It makes me feel old — the fact that I’m [32] and there’s people in this building that weren’t even born the last time I was here.”
For the encore, Rhett returned to the stage at 10:30 p.m. to sing five tracks with Horan. They duetted on Horan’s “Heaven” (2023), Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” (2015) and their only studio collaboration to date, “Old Tricks” (2025).
The self-described “Ella Fellas” also covered breakout country star Ella Langley‘s No. 1 single “Choosin’ Texas” (2025), which Horan noted was a no-brainer for their setlist because it is “the biggest song in the world right now.” They wrapped up the night with a stadium-shaking rendition of Rhett’s favorite One Direction track, “Steal My Girl” (2014), complete with a firework show.
“This is one of the highlights of my career,” Rhett said of sharing the stage with Horan.
Sunday’s concert came in the midst of Rhett’s The Soundtrack of Life Tour, which is scheduled to run through October. Horan, meanwhile, will kick off Dinner Party Live on Tour in Europe in September before bringing it to the U.S. in 2027.
