Vanessa Trump has revealed she is cancer-free six months after her diagnosis.
In a video shared via her daughter Kai Trump’s Instagram on Friday, October 23, Vanessa, 48, confirmed her results “came back clear, so I’m finally cancer-free.”
The clip was a short teaser of a longer chat which is set to drop on Saturday that will feature Kai, 19, sitting down with her mom and Dr. Nicole Saphier as part of a Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative.
“My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we would share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it,” Kai said in the video.
Vanessa — who shares five children with her ex-husband Donald Trump Jr., son of President Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump — announced on May 20 that she had been diagnosed with cancer the previous month. (Donald Jr. and Vanessa share daughters Kai and Chloe, 11, as well as sons Donald III, 17, Tristan Milos, 14 and Spencer Frederick, 13.)
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
She added, “Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Ivanka Trump was among those who expressed their support at the time, writing to her former sister-in-law, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”
The following month, Vanessa provided her followers with an update on her health journey.
“I wanted to share an update on my cancer journey,” Vanessa wrote via Instagram on June 13. “Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward. Soon, I’ll be starting the second stage of my treatment.”
Vanessa moved on from Donald Jr. after their split in 2018 and is currently in a relationship with golfer Tiger Woods.
She quietly began dating Woods in late 2024 and the couple went public in February 2025.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” Woods, 50, gushed via Instagram last March. “We look forward to our journey through life together.”
