Well, this looks awfully familiar.

As fans may recall, France defeated Morocco 2-0 in the 2022 World Cup semifinals four short years ago in Qatar.

On Thursday, July 9, Kylian Mbappé’s Les Bleus will run it back against Achraf Hakimi’s Atlas Lions in the 2026 quarterfinals at Foxborough, MA’s Gillette Stadium.

If you’d like to be at the re-match of the year, last-minute tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $1,139 including fees on SeatGeek.

100-level seats start at $1,658 including fees.

Once again, France is favored to win against Morocco. Oddsmakers currently put Les Bleus at -175, while the North African nation sits at +500 to pull off a quarterfinal upset.

While, Mbappé and co. have the advantage, they enter this round on surprisingly shaky ground. Their steely 1-0 win over Paraguay wasn’t as convincing as they would have liked. The Daily Star even went so far as to say that the match “resembled an early stress test more than a declaration of title credentials.”

As for Morocco, Mohamed Ouahbi’s steady squad delivered a dominant 3-0 victory against Canada in their round of 16 showdown. Azzedine Ounahi scored twice to kick off the shut-out and Soufiane Rahimi sealed the deal late with a third goal.

“What set the 2026 Morocco apart from the one in Qatar is that they showed what elite teams must possess in tournaments,” The Daily Star added. “They remained committed to their approach, trusting that opportunities would eventually arrive and, more importantly, believing they would take them.”

Keep an eye on this one. We’re expecting an instant classic.
