The lavish, star-studded wedding reception of Alina Habba, the former acting New Jersey US attorney and one-time personal lawyer for President Donald Trump, kicked off at the Waldorf Astoria Saturday.
Habba, 42, was set to wed Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon, 29, CEO of Miller Holding, a prominent Turkish multinational conglomerate founded by his grandfather in 1967 sometime this weekend.
It’s unclear if the couple has said “I do” yet, but celebrations were beginning Saturday evening in the legendary midtown hotel’s fourth-floor ballroom, which was festooned with scores of pink and white cherry blossoms and hundreds of red roses.
One top event planner estimated that the cost to rent the ballroom and provide the music and flowers is “easily $1 million.” However, that doesn’t factor in any extra costs for renting guest rooms or additional public spaces in the hotel, the source said.
The couple planned the swanky spectacle in just three months and brought in two top Palm Beach wedding planners, a source told The Post, noting Habba and Mildon wanted to celebrate at the iconic Plaza Hotel but it was booked out.
Through his business, which specializes in energy, construction and mining, Mildon has reportedly developed close ties to government leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela, including interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
Hours before the glittering reception, Habba’s two young children, daughter Chloe and son Luke, were seen brought through the lobby by a staffer.
Margo Martin, a special assistant and communication advisor to President Trump was among the early guests to arrive.
Other notable administration officials spotted at the star-studded bash included Director of the FBI Kash Patel and US Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Trump did not attend the Saturday night event as he was in Knoxville, Tennessee, to watch a huge college football game where No. 1 Texas survived No. 14 Tennessee 20-17.
The couple was first spotted together publicly in April, at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner that was cut short when a gunman attempted to rush the ballroom.
They were later seen partying together at the Executive Branch, a private club in Washington, DC, on the Fourth of July.
Habba was wearing a large diamond engagement ring believed to be at least 23 carats last week when she and Mildon were seen outside the ritzy Polo Room restaurant in West Palm Beach, Fla., the Daily Mail reported.
She also was carrying a pink ostrich Hermès Birkin bag that sells for $30,000.
Habba and Mildon first met earlier this year at a Kennedy Center event in Washington, according to the outlet.
This weekend’s celebrations mark Habba’s third trip down the aisle.
The brunette firebrand divorced her second husband, parking lot magnate Gregg Reuben, sometime after she resigned from her role as the Garden State’s top federal prosecutor last December.
Habba divorced her first husband, attorney Matthew Eyet, in 2019. Eyet is the father of her kids.
