The N.C. State Wolfpack football team is back at Carter-Finley Stadium in Week 5 for a matchup against the Northern Illinois Huskies on Saturday (Noon, CW Network) in Raleigh.
The Wolfpack (2-2, 0-1 ACC) is coming off a 59-35 loss at Clemson and the Huskies (2-1, 0-1 MAC) lost 23-20 in overtime against Buffalo in Week 4. N.C. State coach Dave Doeren, who is in his 12th season with the Wolfpack, won double-digit games in two seasons at Northern Illinois in 2011-12.
The Huskies, who beat No. 5 Notre Dame earlier this season, haven’t played N.C. State since a 41-14 loss in 1997.
