On Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9, the New York Mets are hosting the Philadelphia Phillies in games three and four of the 2024 NLDS at Citi Field.
The NL East rivals are coming off a heated pair of contests in the City of Brotherly Love. Carlos Mendoza’s club shocked the world with a come-from-behind game one win over Rob Thomson’s club thanks to a five-run eighth inning rally. In game two, the Phillies gave the Mets a taste of their own medicine and turned a 3-0 deficit into a decisive 7-6 victory.
To put it simply, up is down, down is up and nothing is safe in this topsy-turvy series. No lead is secure.
And if you want to be there to witness thrilling October baseball live — possibly with Grimace himself — last-minute tickets are still available for games three and four.
