McDonald’s is bringing back the Snack Wrap for good, after years of fans demanding its return.

Available both on its own and in a combo meal, the Snack Wrap will be back on McDonald’s menus starting Thursday, July 10, the fast food company said.

“The Snack Wrap was phased out nationally in 2016, but it never left fans’ hearts. From countless social media posts to full-fledged petitions, they never gave up on their favorite menu item. They’re the ones who inspired us to make its return to the menu happen,” snackwrapfiles.com, McDonald’s official Snack Wrap website states.

McDonald’s is bringing back zSnack Wrap after a nine-year hiatus. The McDonald’s Snack rap will be available starting Thursday, July 10.

The Snack Wrap returns, consisting of a McCrispy strip, shredded lettuce and cheese rolled in a flour tortilla. Two flavors are offered, according to snackwrapfiles.com:

  • Spicy: Bold, zesty and unapologetically fiery – the Spicy Snack Wrap brings the heat with a habanero kick that fans know and love from the Spicy McCrispy sandwich.

  • Ranch: Smooth, rich and irresistibly savory – the Ranch Snack Wrap delivers a satisfying burst of cool ranch goodness, with hints of garlic and onion.

When did McDonald’s get rid of the Snack Wrap?

The Snack Wrap was first added onto McDonald’s U.S. menus in 2006, according to The Food Network.

Ten years later, in 2016, it would be discontinued with few, select locations still offering the beloved item. However, in 2020, the Snack Wrap was officially removed from menus nationwide.

The Snack Wrap isn’t the only menu item making its 2025 debut.

McDonald’s added new spicy breakfast items to its menu July 8, including the Spicy McMuffin, Spicy Sausage McMuffin and Spicy Sausage McMuffin with Egg.

The Daily Double is another new item available now at McDonald’s. The burger consists of two beef patties, a slice of American cheese, shredded lettuce, slivered onions, mayo and two tomato slices. So far, the burger has rolled out in limited markets including Miami, Chicago and Seattle, but will be available nationally through 2025, the company said.
