Fall is firmly here, and a steamy bowl of comfort food sounds pretty nice to us.
So for the next category of The Oregonian’s Readers Choice Awards, let’s talk about the best ramen in the Portland area. (But voting is still open until Tuesday for the best pizza.)
We’ve written about some great ramen shops over the years. Like Toya Ramen & Bar, which is the result of chef Colin Yoshimoto’s effort to make the perfect noodles when he found himself with some extra time on his hands during the pandemic. Takibi, located inside Snow Peak’s U.S. headquarters, offers world-class ramen with imported noodles made from snow-aged flour. And Wu-Rons makes a a Nagahama-style bowl with thin noodles arranged under floating fields of green onion and sesame seeds on a tonkotsu (pork) and soy-based broth.
Where do you love to go for ramen?
Tell us all about your favorite spot and nominate it for our Readers Choice Awards below. The form will take submissions until 11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2024. On Wednesday, Nov. 13, we’ll reveal the finalists and open voting at oregonlive.com/readers-choice.
