The View just simply isn’t the same when the Hot Topics table isn’t complete. Unfortunately for us, that was the case this morning, when Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin all filed out, but co-host Joy Behar was nowhere to be seen.
The last time we saw Behar was the April 4 episode of The View, when she and her co-hosts discussed the recent trend of books being released about the chaotic 2024 presidential election and debated a raunchy relationship fad.
While discussing new books by people like Biden aide Ron Klain — who alleged there was concern about President Joe Biden’s ability to prep for debates before he dropped out of the race — Griffin told the panel she thought Biden pulled a “Trumpian” move by refusing to concede until there were only months left before election day.
In a much more NSFW turn that episode, the ladies delved into the odd new sex trend “hotwifing,” in which husbands pay an adult website called Wifey to arrange for porn stars to have sex with their wives while they watch.
Of course, Behar had plenty to say: “People are so nuts,” she exclaimed, while noting that couples doing the trend claim it “helps build trust and communication” in their marriages.
“Really?” she asked. “Who thought this was a good idea other than a divorce attorney?”
We have to love the classic Joy humor! Here’s what we know about where she is and when she’ll be back on The View.
Where is Joy Behar on The View?
Behar was absent from this morning’s episode of The View, with Navarro returning to fill her empty seat at the Hot Topics table. While it’s not unusual for her to miss the Monday show like she did yesterday, it is out of the ordinary for Behar not to be on the Tuesday show.
When will Joy Behar be back on The View?
When this morning’s show opened, Goldberg did not say anything about Behar missing the show, so we’re unsure when we can expect her back — we just hope it’s sometime soon! In the meantime, DECIDER has reached out to The View for more information.
