The Miz is a heel wherever he goes.

Even away from the squared circle, the former WWE champion is always looking to pick a fight — especially a verbal one — with someone else he deems worthy of being a foe.

And his latest target is Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden.

During Saturday’s Clippers game against the Atlanta Hawks, The Miz took a playful jab at Harden’s postseason performance while promoting RAW’s Netflix debut on Monday at the Clippers’ Intuit Dome.

The Miz was asked about which Clipper would make the best wrestler.

“James Harden, just not in the playoffs. Regular season James Harden is definitely the WWE superstar,” he replied in true Miz fashion.

This comment alludes to the perception that Harden’s performance declines during the playoffs compared to his regular-season achievements, which historically have some statistical merit.

The Miz’s quip was in line with his on-screen persona, known for making provocative statements regarding anyone possible.

The Clippers did soundly beat the Hawks in the game itself, 131-105, recording win No. 20 on the season.

Harden finished with only 10 points on 3 of 9 shooting but did dish out a game-high 15 assists.

The former NBA MVP and 10-time NBA All-Star is having his best season since joining the Clippers, averaging 21.5 points, 8.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds per contest.

For his career, Harden has averaged 24.1 points, 7.1 assists and 5.6 rebounds in the regular season. His playoff averages are 22.7 points, 6.4 assists and 5.5 rebounds.
