Yankees’ approach for ‘situationally aggressive’ baserunning already coming to life

Trent Grisham was thrown out at third base in the bottom of the eighth of Friday’s win over Miami and still, that play was an example of what the Yankees are looking to do more of this season.

It’s part of what first-year baserunning coach Dan Fiorito called his vision for what he wants the team’s approach to be on the bases.

“What we want to do is to be situationally aggressive,’’ Fiorito said before Saturday’s game against Miami.

And he pointed to Grisham as a good example.
