Zayn Malik made a change to some of the dates on his European tour.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances Zayn ‘Stairway to the Sky’ Edinburgh show originally scheduled for the 20th of November has been rescheduled for the 8th of December,” the 31-year-old singer shared via his Instagram Story on Thursday, November 14. “And the Edinburgh show originally scheduled for the 21st of November has been rescheduled to the 9th of December.”

The statement continued: “All tickets for the original show dates will be honored on the rescheduled dates.”

Malik did not offer any further details about why he moved the tour dates.

Last month, the “Pillowtalk” singer postponed the entire U.S. leg of his Stairway to the Sky tour following the death of former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.

“Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I’ve made the decision to postpone the U.S. leg of the Stairway to the Sky Tour,” he shared in a statement on October 19. “The dates are being rescheduled for January and I’ll post them as soon as it’s all set in the next few days. Your tickets remain valid for the new dates. Love you all and thank you for understanding.”

The tour was originally set to kick off in San Francisco on October 23. Now, Malik plans to take the stage in various cities around the United States starting in January 2025.

Payne died at age 31 on October 16 after falling from a balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Argentina. Following an investigation, his death is not being ruled a suicide.

“Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can’t help but think selfishly that there are so many more conversations for us to have in our lives. I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life,” Malik wrote in an Instagram tribute on October 17. “When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know that you were my friend and that I loved.”

Malik also noted that Payne was the “more sensible” member of the group, despite being younger. As his lengthy statement continued, Malik called Payne “headstrong” and “opinionated,” remembering the times that they disagreed.

“I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever, there is no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated,” Malik concluded. “I hope that wherever you are right now you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are.”
