Jevón Holland’s third interception in as many games sent the Giants to their second victory in three weeks. The safety picked off Titans quarterback Cam Ward in the end zone with 17 seconds left as Tennessee drove for the potential game-winning score.

Titans coach Robert Saleh’s decision to attempt a 59-yard field goal in rainy and windy conditions late in the second quarter helped the Giants add three points before halftime — three points that loomed large in the end. Tennessee could’ve played for a field goal in the final seconds rather than needing a touchdown. With 46 seconds left, Joey Slye missed the long try, and the Giants drove to set up a 39-yard Dominic Zvada field goal that made it 9-0 at the time.
Unsung hero
Jordan Stout averaged 50.5 yards on six punts, including three inside the Titans 20-yard line. He also had a booming 74-yarder. He was a big part of the Giants winning the field-position game on a wet day at MetLife Stadium.
