Look, to these eyes (and ears), it’s understandable why the crowd outside Madison Square Garden took a little extra glee in what was happening on the other side of those walls Saturday night.

Inside, the Knicks were taking care of their business against the Atlanta Hawks, winning 113-102 and starting what they hope is an extended playoff run on the right foot.
