It’s a new era for both Manchester City and Bournemouth when the clubs open the 2026-27 Premier League season against each other this morning.

After coaching changes over the summer, both clubs are entering today’s match with new managers.

After 10 years at Man City, during which he led the club to six Premier League titles, three FA Cup titles and one Champions League win, Pep Guardiola left the club at the conclusion of last season. Under new head coach Enzo Maresca, City has already suffered one defeat when they fell 0-3 to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield last weekend.
