Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea Swift is spending quality time with her future in-law Donna Kelce.
Andrea, 68, was photographed linking arms with Travis Kelce’s mom, 73, as the pair attended Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Sunday, January 25. The photos were shared via People that day.
While Travis, 36, and Taylor, 36, didn’t appear to join their moms for the chilly outing, Andrea and Donna looked at ease in one another’s company, leaning into one another as they flashed smiles for the camera.
Dressed in appropriately cozy attire — Andrea teaming a patterned jacket with snow boots and Donna wrapping up in a full-length gray coat — the duo were snapped outside, presumably right before attending one of the star-studded festival’s screenings on Sunday.
The ladies’ day out comes after Donna was recently seen publicly addressing Travis’ past girlfriends in a promotional video for the forthcoming Traitors season that she has been cast in. When asked who she did not “want to see” enter the reality TV series’ castle in the January 7 clip, shared via the show’s social media accounts, Donna responded, “Maybe some of my sons’ adversaries. That could either be on other teams, or it could be coaches, or it could be past girlfriends.”
Travis, one of Donna and her ex Ed Kelce’s two sons, and Taylor announced their engagement in August 2024 via a joint Instagram post. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” a caption read as romantic shots from Travis’ rose-filled garden proposal painted the scene. (Travis is of course a Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end in the NFL while Taylor is renowned for her profound musical lyricism.)
After the pair’s engagement went public, Donna made a sweet nod to their union by changing her Facebook cover photo to include images of both Travis and Taylor as children.
Us Weekly also revealed at the time that Travis had asked Andrea and husband Scott Swift for their blessing prior to his proposal before expanding on what the athlete had planned for the big moment. “Travis is incredibly thoughtful. He had a clear vision of what he wanted,” a source told Us. “He did it almost entirely on his own. He knows her so well and what she likes — a timeless, classic, vintage touch.”
Travis, who began dating the pop star in the summer of 2023, presented Taylor with a diamond ring designed by Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry. The bauble featured an old mine brilliant cut diamond, set on a gold band with smaller stones. It also featured a thin bezel.
Ed, 74, confirmed at the time that his son had proposed in his backyard two weeks prior to the news going public. (Ed and Donna are also parents to Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce.)
“He surprised her. They were going to go out to dinner and she was ready to go, [and he said], ‘Let’s go out in the garden. Let’s go out on that little patio out there, and have a glass of wine before we go. We got time,’” Ed said while speaking on “The Jimmy & Nath Show With Emma” podcast. “As they walked out there, she could see there’s a lot more flowers out there [than usual].”
He also detailed that he and Scott had influenced Travis’ final proposal plans, which had originally involved a “big production.”
Ed said on the podcast, “I told him the same thing Scott told him, [which was] asking her is what’s going to make it special. That’s where you do it, you know what I mean? … Scott adds on, ‘Just get it done [and] don’t worry about any special date. You’re ready, you got the ring [and] go do it.’”
