It’s taken until the fourth month of the year, but the 2026 movies have finally started to arrive on Netflix.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is one of the most prominent 2026 films to hit Netflix this year, and it’s already cracked the streamer’s top 5 movies.
That’s just one of Watch With Us‘ picks for the three most popular Netflix movies you need to watch right now.
Our remaining selections include a romantic comedy and a police thriller.
’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ (2026)
Fear is the new religion in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which picks up immediately after last year’s 28 Years Later. Spike (Alfie Williams) is alive, but also in deep trouble after being taken in by Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell). Jimmy, to put it kindly, is out of his freaking mind and convinced he’s the son of Satan. He’s initiated Spike into his followers, The Fingers, but that may not leave the latter many options for escape.
Meanwhile, Dr Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) has found a potential game-changer while befriending the infected Alpha leader Samson (Chi Lewis-Parry). The Rage virus might be treatable if Ian can survive long enough to figure out a way to use that information.

‘I Feel Pretty’ (2018)
Beauty is in the mind of the beholder in Amy Schumer‘s romantic comedy, I Feel Pretty. Schumer plays Renee Bennett, a woman who has struggled with her body image for most of her adult life. Renee desperately wants to be pretty so she can get her dream job working for Avery LeClaire (Michelle Williams) at a cosmetics company.
Renee’s world is changed when she suffers a head injury that makes her believe she’s as beautiful as she ever dreamed of being. There’s a newfound self-confidence that comes with that, and it allows Renee to get that job she wanted and gives her a chance to romantically pursue a man named Ethan (Rory Scovel). However, there are also some downsides to joining the beautiful people, and Renee may lose her grip on who she really is.

‘Black and Blue’ (2019)
Naomie Harris leads the cast of Black and Blue as Officer Alicia West, an idealistic rookie who returns to her hometown to live out her dream as a member of the police. What she finds is that the people she grew up with, including Milo “Mouse” Jackson (Tyrese Gibson), don’t trust the local police, and with good reason — they’re corrupt. Alicia gets a first-hand look at why when she witnesses Detective Smitty (Beau Knapp), Detective Terry Malone (Frank Grillo) and Officer Deacon “Deek” Brown (James Moses Black) murder suspects in cold blood.
Now, Alicia’s fellow officers want her dead because her body cam footage might be enough to get them sent to prison. She doesn’t even know if she can trust her own partner, Officer Kevin Jennings (Reid Scott). But if Alicia can’t find any allies, then she won’t make it through her first night on the job.
Black and Blue is streaming on Netflix.
