Jordon Hudson acknowledged that it was one year since Bill Belichick’s disastrous “CBS Mornings” interview in an Instagram post on Monday.
The 25-year-old girlfriend of the North Carolina football coach recalled feeling “crushed by the weight of the world” after she was in the middle of a media firestorm for interrupting the interview when Belichick was asked a question about how they met.
“Last April 27th, I went to bed, crushed by the weight of the world,” Jordon Hudson wrote in an Instagram post on Monday, including photos from a recent cheer competition with Code Black, an adult recreational co-ed cheer team.
“This April 27th, I woke up on top of it. 🌎🥇💍”
Hudson tagged CBS mornings — which released Belichick’s interview on April 27, 2025 — in a photo that showed a closeup of her face.
Another image featured her holding a massive trophy after the Code Black team became back-to-back L6 International Open Coed Non-Tumbling World Champions at the Cheerleading Worlds, which took place this past weekend in Florida.
Belichick attended the competition, sporting a “CB” hat with roses and a Code Black t-shirt, as seen in an Instagram post by Hudson.
“Roses up for Bill the WAG,” Hudson wrote.
Hudson and Belichick’s relationship was under a microscope amid the fallout from his interview — and she faced allegations of trying to control his career to gain opportunities for herself.
Belichick appeared on “CBS Mornings” to promote his book, “The Art of Winning,” which states that Hudson is his “idea mill” and “creative muse.”
When CBS’ Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the pair met, Hudson chimed in and said, “We’re not talking about this.”
Belichick released a statement amid the fallout, explaining that Hudson — who manages his opportunities outside of UNC football — interjected to refocus the interview on the book and that CBS only aired a short clip of the full 35-minute conversation.
Belichick and Hudson, who is a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, went public with their relationship in June 2024 after first meeting on a flight in 2021.
