Finally! Knicks win first NBA championship in 53 years to cap playoff run for the ages

The Knicks made history to win Game 4 of the NBA Finals. They broke history in Game 5 by finally ending their 53-year championship drought. The Knicks won 94-90 over the Spurs on Saturday to win their first NBA Finals since 1973 in yet another raucous comeback in the fourth quarter. After trailing through the first three and a half quarters, New York stormed back late in the fourth to bring home the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Jalen Brunson willed the Knicks to victory and led the way with 45 points. The celebration is now on in New York.
